The handbook for these bikes mentions a front paddock stand available from your local BMW dealer. These bikes with their unique front suspension are not suitable for use with normal front paddock stands.

We were quoted £286 plus VAT by our BMW dealer for their stand - a price that was confirmed by BMW UK!!!!!

Here is a very sturdy, easy to use front stand specifically manufactured for use with the front forks of the K1200S and R. Now fitted with an improved and stronger adapter that is made especially for us. The new adapter allows use with the R1200 range of BMW bikes. According to their handbook, they apparently also need to be lifted by the same method at the front
