    One pair of ride height adjustment plates designed to raise the rear ride height by approximately 16 mm without affecting the operation and/or the spring rate of the shock absorber or the paralever arm. Sold as a pair.

    Properly stress analysed these plates are now CNC machined for accuracy and closer tolerances. They are made from 2014A aluminium instead of the OE plates 6082. 2014A is 30% stronger than 6082 and these plates are 23.5% lighter (65 gms instead of 85). They are also now clear anodised for increased corrosion resistance.

    Extensive testing has shown that there is an improvement in handling without any reduction in stability. Comments like "turns in much better"; " holds the line through the corner with less effort"; "a different bike"; "excellent stability" were consistently heard from the various testers.

    Changing the rear ride height by changing the length of the paralever torque arm is not the correct way, because it also changes the angles between the various shafts in the drive train. The driveshaft uses normal universal joints (and not C/V joints) and the more that the input and output shafts deviate from being parallel, the greater will be the vibration and tyre wear.
